Frequently Asked Questions
Click a frequently asked question below to reveal more information
+ How long does a wrap last? Will it fade or start peeling?
A professionally printed, laminated and installed vehicle wrap has an expected outdoor lifespan of 5-7 years.
+ Will a vehicle wrap damage my vehicle’s paint when it is installed or removed?
Provided the vehicle’s paint is not already peeling, a vehicle wrap will protect the paint underneath for the duration of its use. A wrap can be heated and removed at any point with no adverse effects on the vehicle.
+ What is the benefit of wrapping my vehicle versus lettering?
Vehicles with vinyl lettering left on for a long time will protect the paint underneath from UV fading, but not the surrounding areas. When the lettering is removed or replaced, you can see a discoloration where the old lettering used to be. The only way around this is to repaint the vehicle. In addition, a wrap will allow you to change the background color of the vehicle to have a greater appeal than a normal factory colored vehicle.
+ If I get a vehicle wrap, will it be covered by my insurance?
Provided that the wrap is reported to your insurance company, it is considered to add additional value to your vehicle and will be covered by the insurance in the event of accidental loss.
+ Do you offer a warranty on your work? What happens if it starts peeling, wrinkling or bubbling?
We offer a 1 year warranty on our work from wrinkling, fading, bubbling or peeling. If this occurs due to faulty material or improper installation, we will replace the defective panel if brought in during the first year after installation.
+ How do I wash my vehicle after it is wrapped?
Hand washing is the preferred method of cleaning a wrapped vehicle. Rinse off as much dirt and grit as possible with water before using a soft, clean cloth or sponge and a wet, non-abrasive detergent.
+ If I sell my vehicle, how much would I pay to have the wrap removed?
We charge $X an hour to properly remove a wrap. The amount of time required will depend on the size and complexity of the vehicle, but wraps using 3M and Avery materials are designed to be removed with heat leaving no adhesive residue behind.
